The Problem

  • As our customers have become more successful they need to mix cement in greater volumes to meet daily production targets.
  • By hand this was becoming a problem especially to get a reliable consistent mix.
  • A standard cement mixer requires power either mains power often not available or unreliable or a generator which is expensive to buy and run and polluting.
  • The only other attempts at mixers were very homemade and of poor quality for a building supplies business.

The Solution

  • We wanted to make the worlds first pedal powered professional cement mixer.
  • It had to use a mixer that would be reliable and trusted the world over. The Belle 150 was perfect for this.
  • We needed it to mix and perform just like its electric powered version
  • It must be easy to use and maintenance free and most of all produce large volumes of mix.

  • We have built and tested the mixer with it being used on a construction site in the UK.
  • The first product shipped to a charity building low cost housing in Mozambique.
  • We have orders now for more and want to start marketing it to NGO’s and clients around the world.
