The crusher operates by a person peddling which turns a tractor tyre flywheel which in turn builds up and stores energy. This energy is then transferred to a series of levers giving a mechanical advantage of up to 150 times, this is then applied to crush the hardest of stone materials. The static bike is geared for a comfortable continuous operation for both men and women. The design was inspired by the need of our customers and charities to address the problem of breaking granite and concrete in remote areas. Batteries and diesel were in short supply or being stolen. Hammers were too slow, and people were getting injured in the process. The crusher can be operated by one person or integrated as part of a team. Up to 3 tonnes of graded aggregate can be produced in one day. The design utilises standard bicycle components and comes with our 5-year guarantee.
